The national flag of Estonia (Estonian: Eesti lipp) is a tricolour featuring three equal horizontal bands of blue (top), black, and white. The interpretation is follows:

blue: vaulted blue sky above the native land;

black: attachment to the soil of the homeland as well as the fate of Estonians – for centuries black with worries;

white: purity, hard work, and commitment.

Estonia is a state in the Baltic region of Northern Europe. Tallinn is not only the capital of Estonia, but also the largest city of the country which can brag of thousand-year history.
For the history Tallinn changed the name many times. So since the beginning of the 13th to the beginning of the 20th century the city was called Revel, in Russia it was called Sugar candy or Kolyvan, Scandinavians - Lindanisa. There is a hypothesis that naming of the city of Tallinn happened from the words "Danish hail" (taanu linna). For the first time Tallinn was mentioned in chronicles of the 1154-th year.
